As we splurge, we like to make informed decisions, so we do our research. However, there have been times when we tried expensive restaurants with rave reviews and left wondering, "did we miss something?". Nothing burns worse for us than saving up for something good and then watching good hard-earned money going down the drain, because the food experience was not worth the expensive price. That kind of steal certainly interrupts our chill. So, we want you to be well-informed.
Even when we are not doing an expensive meal, cheaper eats are always an option, but we do still care about the taste and experience. Most cities are full of cheap eats, but not all of them are worth eating. We have shared some that were worth our time despite the high chatter.
Some nicer places will need a couple of months advanced reservation. There is nothing more frustrating than watching others eat at the restaurant you want to try. So, set your calendars to remind you of the day you need to make a reservation by going online or calling to get that spot.
